Faruk has worked with a diverse portfolio of clients, including large multinationals, privately held businesses, financial institutions, international NGOs, and donor-funded projects. He is particularly recognized for his experience in USAID-funded audits in Bangladesh, where he supports clients in maintaining compliance and transparency in development finance. His work is rooted in a commitment to high-quality assurance and financial integrity, helping clients manage risk, ensure compliance, and strengthen governance. He is an expert in the financial services sector and development sector.
Faruk holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Dhaka. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), and an active member of global professional communities including the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), USA, as a qualified CISA, and the Institute of Internal Auditors, Bangladesh Chapter.
