On 15 November 2023, the Senate passed Treasury Laws Amendment (2023 Measures No. 1) Bill 2023 together with Government amendments to Schedule 5 - the Franked distributions funded by capital raisings measure.

On 27 November 2023, the Bill, as modified by Senate amendments, received Royal Assent.
