Terence is a Partner in the Financial Services Tax team of Deloitte Australia. Terence has substantial experience in the banking, funds and custodial services industry. In particular, Terence specialises in global information reporting tax regimes and operational taxes. This includes withholding tax regimes, the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Annual Investment and Income Reporting (including Third Party Reporting). Terence also has substantial experience in advising financial services organisations on a range of other tax matters, especially the taxation of financial instruments, financial products and services.

Alison is a Partner in our Financial Services Tax team, providing taxation consulting and taxation compliance services to clients in the financial services industry, particularly banks, and treasury functions of corporate clients. Alison’s areas of interest and specialisation include dividend imputation, debt/equity characterisation, securities lending arrangements and the taxation of financial arrangements (TOFA). Alison is also a Global Information Reporting (GIR) leader with a particular focus on FATCA, CRS and the U.S. qualified intermediary for Australian entities. She assists clients with impact assessments, entity and product classification, registration, onboarding and due diligence documentation and procedures, reporting, compliance assessments, remediation and technical advisory support.
