We are currently seeking a dynamic Payroll Officer with experience with Attache payroll software to join our Internal Client Services Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounting and Finance, with a focus on providing services related to our internal clients.
Key Responsibilities
Process full-cycle payroll for all employees in a timely manner.
Calculate and reconcile payroll data, including overtime, deductions and taxable benefits.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and superannuation contributions; prepare and file tax reports as required.
Prepare payroll journals and assist with month-end/year-end close.
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in HRIS; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
Respond to employee payroll questions; provide clear explanations of payslips and deductions.
Assist with audits and internal controls checks as needed.
Monthly KPI reporting every month and monthly staff rentals processing.
Creditors' payments processing and reconciliation.
Qualifications
A diploma in Accounting & Finance, or a Degree, would be preferable
Experience with Attache payroll software
Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience (preferred).
Working knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations.
Basic accounting skills; ability to prepare reports and journal entries.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Strong numerical and data entry skills; proficient in Excel (vlookups, pivots).
Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.
