Not long ago I returned from doing International PlaceFlex from June until early September in Germany – where I grew up.
It was great to be in Europe during summer and while I continued to work it was wonderful to catch up with extended family and even celebrate my birthday in Germany, which is something I haven’t done in nearly a decade.
I took the final two weeks of my trip as annual leave and made some great memories, including going to Paris with my mum which was a real highlight! 😊
I feel very grateful to work at Deloitte and have this opportunity to reconnect with family overseas and be part of important family occasions after missing out on those for a few years.
