International PlaceFlex allows our employees to combine a holiday with a period of remote work in select overseas destinations for a period of 2-8 weeks. What an awesome opportunity to travel while you work, or catch up with overseas family!
Eligible countries include Malaysia, South Korea, Portugal, Bermuda, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

I’m Kathrin, a Senior Consultant in the Talent Global Mobility team.
Not long ago I returned from doing International PlaceFlex from June until early September in Germany – where I grew up.
It was great to be in Europe during summer and while I continued to work it was wonderful to catch up with extended family and even celebrate my birthday in Germany, which is something I haven’t done in nearly a decade.
I took the final two weeks of my trip as annual leave and made some great memories, including going to Paris with my mum which was a real highlight! 😊
I feel very grateful to work at Deloitte and have this opportunity to reconnect with family overseas and be part of important family occasions after missing out on those for a few years.
