Deloitte has achieved Platinum Employer Status through the Pride in Diversity Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI), the highest recognition in the index. This official recognition comes as a result of achieving 5 gold awards and completing a Platinum Project. We have achieved AWEI gold tier for more than 6 successive years, demonstrating our commitment to workplace equality.

We are proud to be one of only two organisations in Australia to have held the WGEA citation ‘Employer of choice for women’ for 25 years, highlighting our longstanding commitment to promoting gender equality in the workplace. Criteria for the citation covers how gender equality is considered in relation to leadership, flexible working, gender renumeration gaps and recognises organisations that are taking meaningful action to go beyond policy, embedding gender equality into the everyday employee experience.

Deloitte is one of Australia’s first companies to be certified as a Family Friendly Workplace under new national standards launched by Parents At Work and UNICEF Australia. Deloitte is also a founding Partner of Family Friendly Workplaces, which gives organisations the framework and support they need to become more inclusive and supportive of employees’ competing work and family needs.

At the 2026 Australian LGBTQ+ Inclusion Awards, Deloitte was honoured receive the Trans and Gender Diverse Inclusion Award, recognising the meaningful action we’ve taken over the last year to help make Deloitte a safer and more supportive workplace for trans and gender diverse people.
