As a professional economist, he applies his expertise in econometric analysis and modelling to understand drivers of outcomes and measures of performance across the education sector.
Will has a deep interest in education system performance, with a focus on the schooling and higher education sectors. For the past decade he has worked closely with education sector clients across Australia to evaluate policies and programs, develop funding models and provide strategic policy advice. His interests are in workforce and funding model reform, with a focus on policies and programs that improve the quality of education and support the attraction, retention, and status of the teaching profession.
