Sallie Muir is the Managing Partner of Deloitte Australia’s Strategy, Risk & Transactions practice and a member of the firm’s National Executive Leadership Team. With more than 25 years’ experience at Deloitte, Sallie brings deep expertise in Turnaround & Restructuring, where she was the first female Partner admitted into the practice.
During her career, Sallie has advised companies, financiers and government through complex turnarounds, financial restructuring and transactions, with a focus on supporting financially sustainable policy, funding and investment decisions. She also brings significant leadership experience, having held executive roles including Chief Operating Officer and People & Purpose Leader across Financial Advisory and SR&T, and Chief Operating Officer across Deloitte’s Consulting businesses.
Sallie has played a key role in major client projects, including most recently as part of the firmwide team advising on the financial structuring for the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone Transmission Project, one of Australia’s most significant energy transition projects, which was recognised with the 2026 National Infrastructure Award for Financial Excellence.
