Rob Parker is a Partner in the Deloitte Risk Advisory business specialising in Cyber. He works with companies and governments to utilise cyber as an enabler of digital transformation and national level agendas. Rob helps organisations respond to security incidents, plan strategies around mitigating Cyber risk and implement robust security programs. He works across the public and private sector and has deep expertise in leading complex Cyber and Identity programs throughout Australia and Asia.
Rob was a founding member of the Australian Government Gatekeeper Framework workgroup for PKI. He has extensive knowledge of the enterprise and Government cyber landscape. As the Security Managing Director of Asia Pacific for Verizon, Rob was responsible for managing more than 300 associates across Asia Pacific, four Security Operations Centres (SOCs), the APAC Verizon Cyber Security Intelligence Centre (VCIC), and three Forensics Labs, with direct management responsibility for product management, product development, service delivery and security sales operations. As the principal Cyber Government Partner, Rob has defined and delivered high profile Cyber projects for Defence, ATO, Health and State Government.
