Reuben is the Mining Leader for Queensland Australia and a Partner in the Energy & Resources division based in Brisbane Assurance & Advisory. In his 30 year career with Deloitte, 20 years as a Partner, he has served a number of Energy and Resources clients and built up an in depth knowledge of the industry and the environment in which they operate. His experience covers both the audit of these clients as well as advisory work including Accounting Technical advice. He also advised a number of clients with capital raisings and transactions reporting as Independent Accountant on the prospectus (IAR).
His strength lies in delivering superior client service through his knowledge of the client's business/industry, his practical approach and using his strong interpersonal skills to develop long term meaningful relationships with key client personnel, management and board members.
Prior to joining the Australian firm, Reuben was a senior Partner in the Deloitte South African firm for 10 years where he was responsible for the global audits and service delivery to some of Deloitte South Africa’s most esteemed clients, focussing mainly on the mining industry.
Reuben is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is also a Registered Company Auditor in Australia.
