Lachlan is a partner with Deloitte Access Economics and the leader of its Education Policy Practice. His experience spans more than a decade and has seen him lead large scale policy reviews in early childhood education, schooling, VET and higher education – both nationally and across the states and territories.
Among the major reforms he has advised on are: the Gonski Review of funding for schooling; the early childhood education national partnerships; the VET student loan scheme; and numerous rounds of higher education reform deliberations. Lachlan has deep knowledge of education funding, policy and regulation and how evidence can be assembled and analysis conducted to inform these settings in the most rigorous fashion possible.
