Caroline Brell

Caroline leads Deloitte’s Financial Industry Risk and Regulation team, a National practice of over 150 risk professionals who specialise in Enterprise Resiliency and support Deloitte’s largest FS clients across the APAC region. She has over 20 years of experience specialising in providing operational risk, governance and compliance advice to Australia’s largest banks, wealth managers and other iconic and priority financial services institutions.

Caroline has deep regulatory expertise and has worked on and led a number of high profile regulatory enforcement engagements, large and complex remediation programmes, reviews and redesign of risk processes and operating models for her clients. During her career she has also been seconded into senior Risk and Compliance roles in the industry. She has a strong understanding of best practice risk processes and their interaction within the business, advising her clients on how these can be enhanced to drive commercial outcomes. Caroline is the Vice Chair and Board Member of the Risk Management Association Australia.
