RJ is a principal and the Chief Marketing Officer for Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice. He oversees the marketing and communications team comprised of brand, strategic marketing, events, content, and digital marketing for GPS consulting and advisory. As CMO, he is focused on driving awareness and growth in the marketplace and delivering impact for clients.
RJ also serves a dual role as leader of both the GPS Advertising, Marketing and Commerce (AM&C) and GPS Customer Strategy and Applied Design (CS&AD) offerings. In his role as the inaugural GPS AM&C leader, RJ works with public sector clients to connect with the people, stakeholders, and citizens they serve by implementing best-in-class marketing strategies and turning mission values into measurable growth. As the GPS CS&AD leader, RJ supports client growth using human insights to design and deliver powerful experiences, drive measurable outcomes, and transform organizations.
RJ was also a leader in the firm’s launch of Hux, a new experience management capability that enables organizations to own the customer journey end-to-end and provide more personal and relevant customer and employee experiences at scale into the public sector. RJ specializes in enabling early adopters to drive value to their organizations through design, with a focus on implementation and impact. He brings nearly 20 years of experience delivering to senior executive clients across the federal, state, local, commercial, and nonprofit sectors.
RJ joined Deloitte as an intern in 2001 as part of the Data Quality and Integrity practice. Since then, he worked in the Risk and Commercial practices before joining GPS.
