I am a Partner at Deloitte, serving as the EMEA Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) Industry Leader and leading the Global Low-Carbon Solutions practice. I advise executives on how to unlock competitive advantage and create sustainable and resilient companies.
In the low-carbon space, I support organisations across the entire energy value chain—from producers and distributors to energy-intensive industries like steel, aviation, and shipping. I help them develop business cases, design innovative business models, provide policy advice, and enable large-scale project implementation.
As the EMEA ER&I Industry Leader, I advise clients across Energy & Chemicals, Power & Utilities, and Industrials on strategic and operational priorities. This includes growth strategy, smart operations, sustainable cost reduction, and organisational transformation.
I have authored several pieces of thought leadership on sector decarbonisation, hydrogen, and biofuels, and I am a regular speaker and moderator at leading global forums, including COP, CERAWeek, ADIPEC, ONS, the World Hydrogen Summit, and the World Petroleum Congress.
Prior to my career in consulting, I worked in operations and major projects at a supermajor energy company. I hold an MBA from London Business School and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo. I am based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
