In 2024, the Top 100 Global Powers of Construction (GPoC) generated total sales of US$1.978 trillion, with 51.2% of revenue coming from Chinese companies, followed by Europe (22.0%), Japan (9.1%), the United States (8.8%), and South Korea (4.7%).
The construction industry has shown remarkable resilience, with a projected compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.5% from 2025 to 2030, despite a slowdown in 2024.
European construction firms lead in internationalisation, with 66% of their sales derived from outside domestic markets, emphasising strategic expansion into emerging regions.
The adoption of smart construction technologies, including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and AI-driven project management tools, is helping to improve efficiency and reduce costs across the industry.

He also led several consulting and financial advisory projects. He is currently the partner in charge of Clients & Industries, of the industry of Energy, Infrastructure, Telecommunications and Public Sector in Deloitte Spain. He has been a member of Deloitte Spain's Executive Committee since 2009. At international level he is the Global Leader of the Engineering and Construction Industry and member of the Global Clients & Industries Committee.

Having worked with some of the largest names in the sector, Jean-Louis currently focuses on innovation and the impact of digital on A&D organizations. Based in Paris, he is an active member of A&D associations and participates in such major events as the Paris Air Show and the Farnborough International Airshow.
