Dr. Jacek Guzek

Dr. Jacek Guzek is an associate director in the Consulting practice of Deloitte Africa. He is responsible for strategic sensing and insight for the energy, resources & industrials industry. A nuclear physicist by training, Guzek spent much of his career in R&D for mining companies before making a shift into business with an MBA some two decades ago. From 2014 to 2017, he spent time nurturing and growing his startup into a nationally recognizable brand with international presence. He has published numerous refereed papers, presentations, business proposals, reports, and patents around nuclear physics and his business interests. He pursued his MSc in engineering physics from Silesian Technical University; a PhD in nuclear physics from Wits University; and MBA from Bond University.
