CFO & CEO Executive Edge Sessions, May 13-14
Artificial intelligence and robotics
Artificial intelligence and robotics: it may sound futuristic. But it's very real and very much now. On May 13 and 14, Deloitte and Singularity University will welcome a select group of Dutch CFOs and CEOs to our next Executive Edge Sessions at Deloitte Rotterdam, to discuss the business impact of artificial intelligence and robotics.
The Center for the Edge Europe was officially launched on November 20, 2013, in an Executive Edge session which featured keynote speakers Peter Diamandis, co-founder and chairman of Singularity University, and John Hagel, founder and co-chairman of the Center for the Edge. We organized the Executive Edge session in partnership with Singularity University NL.

The Deloitte Center for the Edge conducts original research and develops substantive points of view for new corporate growth. The Silicon Valley-based Center helps senior executives make sense of and profit from emerging opportunities on the edge of business and technology.
What is created on the edge of the competitive landscape—in terms of technology, geography, demographics, markets—inevitably strikes at the very heart of a business.
Our mission is to identify and explore emerging opportunities related to big shifts that aren’t yet on the senior management agenda, but ought to be. While we’re focused on long-term trends and opportunities, we are equally focused on implications for near-term action, the day-to-day environment of executives.
The Center for the Edge was founded by Deloitte in 2007 in Silicon Valley and per June 1, 2013 we introduced the Center for the Edge in Europe. The centers have a joint research agenda and approach.
We believe that Europe and most of the companies over here have much more innovation and growth potential than currently used. By introducing the Center for the Edge in Europe we aim to release this innovation by making our vision, methods and approach available for our clients with a foothold in Europe.
