Deloitte’s Securitization practices ranked Best in the World
ISR’s Global Securitization Award recognizes Deloitte member
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (DTT) announced today its member firms have been recognized as the world’s best for securitization accounting by International Securitisation Report (ISR), a securitization trade publication based in London, at its 2006 annual awards ceremony held at the London Hilton, Park Lane this evening. Deloitte was further recognized for having won the award for nine consecutive years since inception.
The annual ISR Global Securitization Awards are recognized internationally as the most important qualitative assessment of excellence within the structured finance community. The awards also recognize the best issuers, arrangers, law firms, rating agencies, trustees, research providers and deals.
"It's an honor for Deloitte's global securitization practices to be recognized once again as the standard of excellence in securitization accountancy services. Deloitte has built a securitization network with member firm representatives in more than 50 countries to serve our clients," said Frank Dubas, Deloitte & Touche LLP's managing partner of international securitization. "Deloitte’s success is the result of practitioners' technical, regulatory and tax knowledge, combined with Deloitte's deep understanding of the securitization process and the needs of clients. These awards place Deloitte among the securitization industry's leading companies, many of whom were recognized for their work in investment banking, research, law and transaction support."
"Deloitte member firms are extremely proud of the extraordinary accomplishments of their people. Leading by example, placing clients first and bringing the very best of these firms to each opportunity, Deloitte strives to serve the securitization markets in a seamless fashion," stated Howard Kaplan, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP and U.S. securitization managing partner. "Earning this distinction for the ninth consecutive year reinforces Deloitte's commitment to setting a standard of excellence that is unparalleled in the industry. It is both an honor and a privilege to once again be recognized by the securitization industry as 'best in class' and I thank our world-class clients and industry colleagues for their support, loyalty and continued recognition of Deloitte’s people."
