Talent

Manage a multi-generational employee population with differing and often conflicting career expectations

Some of the world’s most admired companies will lose half their key talent over the next five years. Experienced workers are preparing to retire en masse, and there just isn’t enough young talent to replace them. Also, the next generation of workers - despite their high aspirations and expectations – may not have the skills required by new business strategies. Widening gaps in skills and capabilities of employees are driving this talent shortage. Some questions to address are:

  • Do we have the right talent, in the right places, to execute our business strategy?
  • Will key talent stay with us through challenging times?
  • Do we have the right strategies and programmes in place to close the growing talent gap?
  • Do employees understand, and is their performance aligned with, our business priorities?
