Entreprise Socialement Responsable

Entreprise Socialement Responsable

In 2010, Deloitte Luxembourg received this CSR accreditation from the Institut National pour le Développement Durable et la Responsabilité Sociale des Entreprises (INDR).

The INDR, which is presided over by Michel Wurth, who is also the chairman of the Union des Entreprises Luxembourgeoises (UEL), helps companies to integrate their economic, social, societal and environmental objectives to create a socially responsible work environment. It is one of the rare recognitions in the world which provides a global accreditation to organisations for their CSR initiatives.

In order to receive the INDR accreditation, organisations need to submit their candidature to INDR certified experts, presenting their CSR projects and ensuring they fulfil the three main criteria of the INDR:

  • Social and professional equity of chance, focusing on improving the health and safety in the workplace, the work/life balance, etc.
  • Governance, centring on aspects such as the transparency within the organisation
  • Environment, targeting the recycling potential of the company, reduced energy consumption, renewable energies, etc.

Deloitte has created a socially responsible work environment, committed to generating a healthy work/life balance within the company through our numerous projects, such as Eco-tips, which are distributed throughout the building, and health days, which are organised to improve employees’ health and well-being in the workplace.

The challenges of health and corporate social responsibility are permanently ongoing. There will be many hurdles lying in wait and we will strive to overcome them all.
