Reto Savoia

Reto is the Tax Practice Leader for Deloitte Switzerland and has more than 15 years of corporate tax experience. This includes extensive experience in the area of cross-border structuring and business reorganisations including large supply chain transformation projects. In his capacity as an M&A specialist Reto has worked on a significant number of transactions including vendor and buyer Due Diligence, tax optimized acquisition structures and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements.
Reto is representing Switzerland as board member on the board of Deloitte UK.

Hans Rudolf Habermacher, Partner, Zurich
Hans Rudolf Habermacher

Hans Rudolf Habermacher has over 12 years experience in the field of Transfer Pricing. He successfully supported a large number of MNCs in various industries with the planning, implementation, documentation and defence of Transfer Pricing concepts. In recent years, Hans Rudolf has specialised in advising Swiss multinationals with a strong focus on the energy sector.  Hans Rudolf has significant expertise in the design and implementation of principal and licensing structures, transfer price planning for Swiss companies and Swiss based headquarter companies and in supporting clients in APA's (Advanced Pricing Arrangements) and mutual agreement procedures.

Jackie Hess, Partner, Zurich
Jackie Hess

Jackie is a very experienced Swiss international tax partner who has significant expertise in the tax aligned supply chain area as well as setting up headquarter companies in Switzerland and has been working with companies in this area for over 15 years. She is a specialist in assisting companies with the Swiss and international aspects in cross border tax planning. Jackie is also the Life Sciences tax industry leader for Deloitte.

Olivier Hody, Partner, Geneva

Olivier has over 15 years experience of tax consulting and compliance within Big4 firms, both in Belgium and in Luxembourg. He is a member and co-leader of the VAT group within Deloitte Global Tax Center (Europe), managing pan-EU VAT services (in all EU Member States and beyond) for multinational companies. Olivier focusses on Financial services, Life Sciences & Healthcare and the Manufacturing industry.

Ferdinando Mercuri, Partner, Lausanne

Ferdinando has over 14 years of professional experience within the tax consulting to companies, as well in the industrial field as in the services companies. In addition to his function of Partner at Deloitte, he also teaches tax law within the French-speaking part of Switzerland and he is responsible of the International Tax Module for the French part of the Swiss Tax Academy.

David McNeil, Partner, Geneva

David is an international tax partner based in our Geneva office. He leads our tax accounting and tax management consulting teams for Switzerland. In his 17 years with Deloitte, David has advised on tax transformation projects assisting in the assessment of the tax risks associated with their business, the mapping of processes and controls and the education of their tax personnel to more effectively manage the tax processes and the tax related risks faced by their organisations.

Campbell is the Partner in charge of our Global Employer Services (GES) Practice in Switzerland. He specialises in International Assignment Services where he advises on tax, social security and international HR policy matters. He also has personal experience of the challenges that employees face when undertaking international assignments and has worked with a wide range of companies across a broad range of industries during his career. Flurin Poltera, Partner, Zurich

Flurin is the Leader of Deloitte Switzerland's M&A tax practice. He has more than 13 years of corporate tax experience, with a focus on transaction related tax matters such as buy & sell side tax due diligences, tax optimized acquisition structuring, tax efficient carve-out & exit structuring, management buy outs and implementation of management participation schemes as well as tax review and negotiation of sale & purchase and credit facility agreements.

René Schreiber, Partner, Zurich

René is a very experienced corporate international tax partner and leads our Outbound Tax practice. He has worked both on large cross-border structuring projects as well as M&A projects. Besides René has specialized in serving utility companies and leads the electricity sub-industry of Deloitte Switzerland. He has 20 years of experience in corporate taxation and is a frequent speaker in national and international tax matters. René lectures international tax law in a master education / LL.M. program in taxation in Zurich.

Benno Suter

Benno is the Lead Partner for our indirect tax practice with 20 specialists in Switzerland covering all industries. He has 18 years experience as corporate and indirect tax advisor and many years in-house experience as a tax director of a leading Swiss multinational. He is a member of the prestigious Swiss VAT competency group of the Swiss Institute for Certified Accountants and Tax Consultants.

Karin Verheijen, Partner, Basel

Karin joined Deloitte on 1 January 2013 and is leading the Global Employer Services (GES) practice in Basel. Karin has over 20 years of experience providing Swiss and international tax advice. She is specialised in providing technical support to international assignees, coordinating global programs for large corporations as well as supporting companies with managing their international mobility programs.

Markus Weber, Partner, Zurich

Markus Weber heads the Financial Services Tax practice for Deloitte in Switzerland. Until 2008, Markus worked for another Big4 company where he gained more than seven years of experience consulting banks, asset manager and investment trusts in domestic and international tax issues. Afterwards Markus became managing director of a fund management company, followed by a role as executive director in the group tax department of a leading Swiss bank, being in charge of compliance with U.S. tax regulations.
