After Lourdes in 2006 and Mont Ventoux in 2008, the Deloitte Belgium Partners Cycling Event 2010 is heading for Alpe d’Huez (France).
The idea is to cover approximately 1,150 kilometres distance in 7 days on our bicycles, and organize ‘a little extra’ on day 8. This year we will organize that day a special program in the Alps, containing the climb of the Col de la Croix de Fer (2,064 metres high) as one of the ‘highlights’...
We will cycle away from Diegem on 8 May, and will come back by bus on 16 May. In total 21 partners have decided to join this adventure. For some, it will be their third participation, for others their first.
We hope that also this year friends, colleagues and relatives will sponsor us generously. All sponsor amounts will be donated to two projects: we have selected the international project SOS Kinderdorpen/Villages d’Enfants, and our own Fund Isaan project in Thailand. More information can be found at the right
We intend to keep the ‘home front’ updated through our daily blog. We hope Rony will star as our daily reporter again.
This trip promises to be exceptional: friendship, fun and sports in combination with business talks will be the ingredients of an unforgettable cocktail …

Please note that Hans De Meyer is not cycling with us… He will join on his motorbike. Also Rony Wuytjens is coming, but he will drive one of the vans. The other van (mobile home) will be driven by Frank Segers. As you can see also Yves Francis of Deloitte Luxemburg will join us.
