- Macquarie appeal dismissed – Commissioner not bound by practice statement: The Full Federal Court has dismissed Macquarie Bank’s application for leave to appeal against the decision of the Federal Court in Macquarie Bank Limited v Commissioner of Taxation as there was no basis on which the Bank could seek to enforce any adherence to the ATO practice statement.
