Managing energy consumption and associated energy costs has become an important strategic discipline for businesses, but this discipline is moving into new territory as economic conditions change and the energy marketplace evolves.  

Deloitte, with strategy and market research firm Harrison Group, a YouGov Company, has completed its third annual study of electricity customers in the United States. Among a range of issues that are also relevant to the Australian energy market, the two reports look at what both businesses and consumers are doing to manage their energy usage and what motivates them to adopt new practices and invest in new technologies.
