John Diiorio

Prior to joining Deloitte, John was in the National Tax Department of another Big Four Firm for 20 years. In his prior role, John was the practice leader responsible for providing clients with complex interest and penalty computations, resolving IRS account issues, understanding, and responding to IRS notices, tax return and payment processing questions, and collection matters. John has represented clients before the IRS including in Examination and Appeal proceedings. John is a frequent speaker and writer on tax controversy issues and is currently an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Law Center.
