Robert Brooks

Robert is a Director in Deloitte’s GRC practice; he co-leads the GRC proposition team in Financial Services. Robert has delivered multiple GRC implementations ranging from Financial Close management, IT Risk management for accounting and regulatory reporting, ‘Operational’ IT Risk Management using COBIT, trading back-office compliance, and operational risk transformation to name a few. He sees the transformative benefits of GRC as a platform for the rationalisation of processes, removing duplication of effort, and integrating risk management processes. Robert has spoken at conferences on GRC topics as diverse as the ‘Impact of Regulatory change on IT, Conduct Risk and Operationalising GRC’.
