Mike is a member of the Tax Disclosure and Transparency team within the UK firm. Before joining Deloitte, Mike spent 17 years with another ‘Big Four’ practice, the majority of which was spent with their Tax Investigations team. He is a Chartered Tax Adviser.
Mike’s main focus is to help clients, including High Net Worth individuals, owner-managed businesses and trustees to resolve tax disputes with HMRC, ranging from small enquiries through to cases of suspected serious fraud (Code of Practice 9/ Contractual Disclosure Facility). Mike also has considerable experience helping clients to make voluntary disclosures to HMRC through the Worldwide Disclosure Facility (WDF) and its predecessor programmes, such as the Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility (LDF).
