On the Annual Graduate Recruitment

1. What is the annual graduate recruitment program?

The annual graduate program is a recruitment run by Deloitte East Africa for recent university graduates to start their careers with us. The program runs for 2 years. During this time, successful candidates will be taken through an intensive training program which includes both classroom and on the job training.

2. Which countries are you hiring for?

Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

3. Am I required to live in the country in which I am applying or can I work remotely?

While we have a hybrid work model which entails both physical and remote working. Given that this is a trainee program, it is expected that there will be physical interactions hence requiring physical presence within country. All applicants must have authority to work in the country they are applying to.

4. When will I be notified of my status as proceeding to interview?

We have several steps in the selection process and feedback will be shared accordingly at the various stages depending on the progress. Unsuccessful candidates will also be notified.

5. What service lines/departments are recruiting?

Can I apply to more than one service line/department?Audit and Tax & Legal are currently accepting graduate trainees. You can only apply in one of these two options at the moment. Please consider your preference carefully before submitting your application. If you indicate a department that is not currently hiring, you will only be considered when an appropriate position comes up in that department.

6. Is an accounting background required?

As a professional services firm with a multidisciplinary approach to serving our clients, we welcome graduates from all majors.

7. What are the qualifications required?
