Zahra Nensi is a Partner leading Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice in Tanzania, with over 15 years of experience advising clients in the Public Sector, Health Care, Financial Services & other industries. She is also Deloitte East Africa’s International Development Organizations (IDO) Sector Leader.
Zahra is based in Tanzania and has over 15 years of experience working with a range of development partners to solve some of the world’s most complex problems. Zahra’s particular area of expertise and interest is addressing the complexity that lies at the intersection of health, social and economic factors that drive inequality. She is currently leading the Kizazi Hodari project which is a USD 28m five-year USAID-funded project to improve the health, well-being and protection of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and youth in HIV high burden communities within 5 regions of Tanzania. As the newly appointed IAD Africa Leader, Zahra will be spearheading our continued growth in the IAD market segment – one of the priority areas for our Firm’s Government and Public Services strategy.
Zahra has a PMP, B.Math and MBA.
