Liesbeth is the Deputy Chair of Deloitte EMEA, and as part of a planned succession she will become the Chair of Deloitte EMEA from 1 June 2028. She is a member of the Deloitte Global Board of Directors and chair of the Deloitte Global Purpose, Culture and Sustainability Committee. Liesbeth is also a member of the Nautilus Board and an adviser to some of the EMEA Participating Firm Boards.
Prior to her election as Deputy Chair of EMEA, Liesbeth was the Chair of the Deloitte North South Europe Board and before that a member of the Deloitte Executive Board in the Netherlands. Liesbeth has also previously been the Deloitte NSE Ethics Leader and chaired the Deloitte NSE Public Interest Consistency Committee. Before progressing to her Executive and Board roles, Liesbeth was a tax & legal partner.
Liesbeth is passionate about developing our purpose agenda and has a deep interest in leadership development. She provides input and active senior sponsorship for leadership programs at Deloitte including programmes for some of Deloitte’s most senior and high potential partners. Liesbeth is equally focused on developing diversity, and she participates in the Deloitte Women in Boards and Female Executive programs.
Liesbeth has a degree in Fiscal Economy from Tilburg University.
Liesbeth is married to Dirk, and lives in Zeeland in the South-West of the Netherlands. Liesbeth enjoys spending time on Vlieland, a small island off the coast of the Netherlands, walking her dogs.
