USAID Afya Yangu (My Health) Southern Project
The USAID Afya Yangu (My Health) Southern Project is a five year project (9 November 2021 to 8 November 2026), funded by the American People through USAID, aiming at supporting the Government of Tanzania’s (GOT) Ministry of Health and the President’s Office - Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG) at the central level and targeting six Southern Tanzania regions to deliver high quality integrated HIV and Tuberculosis (TB) prevention, care and treatment services leading to improved health outcomes, particularly for youth and children.
The project intends to increase the demand for and use of quality integrated HIV and TB services, in Iringa, Lindi, Morogoro, Mtwara, Njombe, and Ruvuma regions by improving access to quality services in both facilities and the surrounding communities, promoting positive health seeking behaviors among Tanzania’s population, and enhancing the overall policy environment for HIV & TB service delivery.
USAID Afya Yangu Southern is managed by Deloitte Consulting Limited in partnership with Management and Development for Health (MDH) and T-MARC Tanzania.
USAID Kizazi Hodari (Brave Generation) Southern Zone Project
The USAID Kizazi Hodari (Brave Generation) Southern Zone Project is a five-year Project (March 24, 2022, to March 23, 2027) funded by the American People through USAID aiming at providing technical and material assistance and/or administrative and management support to the Government of Tanzania - Ministry of Health, Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups, and President's Office Regional Administration and Local Government through local government authorities at regional, district, and ward levels, and communities (Civil Society Organizations & Faith-Based Organizations) to increase their capacity to manage, refine and develop OVC service packages and support to advance OVC Activity contribution to HIV epidemic control.
This Project’s primary purpose is to seamlessly continue the delivery of high-quality services for OVC, and their caregivers served by the Kizazi Kipya project while refining OVC service packages and support to advance OVC program contribution to HIV epidemic control. USAID Kizazi Hodari (Brave Generation) Southern Zone Project is implemented by Deloitte Consulting Limited as a prime implementing partner, leveraging experience from the previously implemented USAID Boresha Afya Southern Zone (UBASZ) program to strengthen linkages between facility and community levels, while implementing prevention and economic strengthening activities through partnerships with CSOs.
USAID Kizazi Hodari (Brave Generation) Southern Zone Project aims to improve the health, well-being, and protection of OVC and youth in the high HIV burden communities of Mtwara, Iringa, Njombe, Lindi, Ruvuma, Songwe, Rukwa, Katavi, Morogoro and Mjini Magharibi - Zanzibar.
Deloitte Consulting Limited has been approved by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to manage Afya Yangu (My Health) Southern Project and Kizazi Hodari (Brave Generation) Southern Zone Project.

All bids in one original plus one copy properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked the relevant tender number and details of the tender must be delivered to Deloitte Consulting Limited 3rd Floor, Aris House, Plot 152, Haile Selassie Road, P.O. Box 1559, Oyster Bay, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on or before 11 December 2024 at 12:00 noon.
Soft copy of bid submissions can be made on or before 11 December 2024 at 12:00 noon via e-mail to procurements@deloitte.co.tz. The subject of the email should be the relevant tender details and tender number. Soft copy bid submissions must be scanned copies of duly filled, signed, and stamped bids.
Bidders wishing to submit more than one bid must ensure that each bid is submitted in a separate envelope that is clearly marked with tender number and description of the tender.
Instructions to bidders: The bid document must consist of, application letters, company profile/physical address and contacts, legal trading documents (TIN Certificate, VRN Certificate, compliant to the government’s tax regulations, current business licenses), companies experience in related field, and personnel capabilities in the relevant field.
