Eric has started his profession at Deloitte & Touche since 1999. In Eric’s past experience, most of his clients were financial institution, including financial holding company, life insurance company, and commercial bank company, especially, focusing on life insurance industry.
His professional exposure includes leading foreign companies going public in the Taiwan Stock Market, developing the roadmap for IPO in Geneva, Switzerland, assisting with Shin Kong Financial Holding Company in the mergers and Acquisitions of United-Credit Commercial Bank and Macoto Bank, and helping Bonds of Shin Kong Financial Holding Company listed in Luxembourg stock exchange and SGX-ST.
He represents Deloitte Taiwan to join the discussion with Accounting Research and Development Foundation about the draft version of IFRS 17 “Insurance Contracts”. He was also invited to join Insurance Bureau and Taiwan Insurance Institute’s meetings to discuss numerous vital insurance issues, for example, IFRS adoption policies and continuous research about adopting International Accounting Standards.
