Elif Düşmez Tek has been with Deloitte since 2004. She is a Partner in Deloitte Türkiye’s Strategy, Risk & Transactions practice, where she leads Strategy & Business Design and serves as Chief Strategy Officer.
Elif has more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector. She has advised on major transformation initiatives supporting the liberalization and development of Türkiye’s power and gas markets, including the Balancing and Settlement System and the establishment of Türkiye’s energy exchange. She has also advised leading local and international organizations on sector strategy, growth, investment, and large-scale transformation.
Her expertise spans energy market design and regulation, power and gas pricing, market modelling, energy transition, corporate and growth strategy, target operating models, post-merger integration, and business transformation.
In recent years, Elif has broadened her focus beyond energy, advising clients across industries on corporate strategy, growth, business design, and complex transformation agendas.
Elif is actively involved in the energy ecosystem. She is a member of TÜSİAD’s Energy Working Group and President of the Digitalization in Energy Association (EDİDER).
Elif holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU), as well as master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering and Information Systems from METU.
