Erdem Taş, an audit partner, is Deloitte Turkey Board Chair and Deloitte Central Europe Board member. He graduated from Middle East Technical University department of Economics in 1996.

Erdem Taş joined Deloitte Turkey in 1996. Within Deloitte Global Exchange Program, he worked in Canada Toronto Office between 2001-2003 and during his 2 year career in Canada, he gained experience about Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the US (“US GAAP”) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in Canada. He has considerable experience in the framework of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS” and Turkish Accounting Standards (“TAS”) and Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (“BRSA”).

He worked as finance and tender manager in European Union Representation Office of Turkey between March 2006-March 2008. During this time, he accumulated significant experience in EU PRAG guidelines, project management.

He has considerable experience in the energy and resources, construction/real estate and manufacturing sectors including defense and aviation. He is experienced in auditing of and serving large group companies. He also serves clients at the financial sector.

He is a member of Turkish Independent Auditors Association.
