Demirel, a graduate of Economics Department at Middle East Technical University, joined the Deloitte team as an Audit Assistant in 2001. Demirel served in the Deloitte office in Dublin, Ireland from 2006 to 2007. He has been working as the Director of Audit Services at Deloitte Turkey Office in Turkey since 2014 and as the Leader of Deloitte Turkey Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry since June 2021.
