The Deloitte Singapore SheXO Program hosted its annual SheXO Forum on 14 March 2025, centred around the theme “The Leadership Imperative: Bridging Vision and Action”. Held at Raffles Singapore, the forum brought together over 60 C-suite business leaders and Deloitte leaders.

The forum opened with a welcome address by Yvaine Gan, SheXO Program Leader, Deloitte Southeast Asia, followed by a lively fireside chat with Nur Syahidah Alim, Singapore’s para-athlete and 2019 world champion para-archer, moderated by Shariq Barmaky, Country Managing Partner, Deloitte Singapore. From facing career-threatening injuries to becoming a world champion, Syahidah shared how resilience, an unshakable love for her sport, and a solid support system fueled her success. Her story was a poignant reminder that with determination, even the toughest challenges can be overcome.

Next, Indranil Roy, Workforce Transformation Leader, Deloitte Southeast Asia, shared insights on “Unlocking your Agency.” His session highlighted the power of self-motivation, the importance of expanding one’s network, and the need for continuous learning to empower individuals to take charge of their careers and thrive in today's dynamic work environment.

The forum concluded with a thought-provoking panel discussion on “Leadership at a Crossroads”, moderated by Pushp Deep Gupta, Technology & Transformation Partner, Deloitte Southeast Asia. The esteemed panelists included Alister Ong, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Client Solutions Lead at Michael Page; Tanya Sinha, Inclusive Experiences and Technology Leader for APJC & EMEA at Amazon Web Services; and Yan Ping Koh, CEO of the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations. Together, they delved into the evolving nature of leadership, exploring how leaders can stay true to their values while balancing organisational demands and societal expectations.
