Malaysia Board-Ready Women (BRW) Program

The BRW aims to prepare and position aspiring women for board placements. Prominent board members and knowledge partners will share the latest trends, explore case studies, and impart valuable insights to inspire them in their journey.

Introduction

Women now hold 33.1% of Board positions among Malaysia’s top 100 public listed companies – a powerful sign of progress, but the journey to gender parity in the boardroom is not over. Deloitte, together with BoardRoom, Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM) and the 30% Club Malaysia, introduced the Board-Ready Women Program (BRW) in 2023, an invitation-only program to empower the next generation of women leaders for the board.

Deloitte Graduates First Cohort of Board-Ready Women Program

In partnership with Boardroom Malaysia, Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM), and 30% Club Malaysia, the program comprised four interactive sessions held from September to November which provided participants with valuable insights and knowledge in various areas of corporate governance and personal branding through engaging discussions, live boardroom simulation and interview sessions.
