Wenjie has substantial experience in Singapore and international tax, and regularly advises clients on cross border tax issues (e.g. BEPS, MLI, tax treaties), restructuring and M&A transactions.
He holds a Masters of Law (International Tax) from King’s College London and has double degrees in business and accountancy from SMU. He is a Singapore Chartered Accountant and holds the designation of ‘Advanced Diploma of International Tax’ from UK CIOT.
He has completed the ATP (Level III) with 2 book prizes. He is also an Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP).
Outside of Deloitte, he is an adjunct lecturer at SMU, and a regular trainer at the Singapore Tax Academy. He is also the current author of the Singapore Tax Workbook.
He is currently a member of SCTP’s Examinations & Curriculum Committee.
