Cheah Wai Seng

Wai Seng is a seasoned industry leader with over 2 decades of global experience in consulting and technology experience. He is currently the Energy, Resources & Industrial industry leader at Deloitte Malaysia. In this role, he helps clients in their digital transformation journey, amidst the fast-changing industry landscape.

A strong advocate for leveraging on the twin engines of digital and sustainability to enable future growth and efficiencies, Wai Seng frequently shares his insights at leading industry platforms, including engagements with the World Economic Forum.

Prior to joining Deloitte, he was the Country Managing Director for Malaysia, at a leading sustainability and renewables software provider. In that role, he collaborated with government agencies and top corporations to drive national and corporate agendas on sustainability and energy transition.

Wai Seng also previously held the role of SEA Energy Lead for a Global Consulting Firm where he was responsible for the Energy industry vertical, primarily supporting oil and gas clients across the region. A recognised subject matter expert, Wai Seng has also developed a patented capability assessment model.
