Dr. Metinee Jongsaliswang
Country Managing Partner, Deloitte Thailand and Lao PDR
Dr. Metinee is the Country Managing Partner of Deloitte Thailand and Deloitte Lao PDR. Prior to becoming the Country Managing Partner, she was the Country Leader for Deloitte’s Consulting business in Thailand and Myanmar. She is a board member for Deloitte Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific, where she was the first female appointee from Southeast Asia. She has extensive experience in the financial services industry, including business management, product development and the adoption of new operating models.
Highly regarded for her advice on competitive strategy, Dr. Metinee has led numerous growth and expansion deals, including financial advisory and fund-raising activities in Thailand, Southeast Asia, China, and Europe over the course of her 25-year career.
Before joining Deloitte, she held leadership roles in corporate banking and private banking at leading banks, focusing on the Financial Services, Consumer and Energy, Resources & Industrials industries.
Dr. Metinee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Thammasat University and the University of Texas at Austin, which she attended on a King Bhumiphol Scholarship, and was awarded a Gold Medal from His Majesty the King. She was also awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from Manchester Business School.
