Malika is a Tax Partner in Deloitte Thailand’s Global Trade Advisory practice, with more than 30 years of experience in customs and international trade consulting. She is a former certified customs specialist of the Thai Customs Department and currently serves as the Chair of the Customs and Excise Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AMCHAM) and Head of Customs and Excise at the Board of Trade of Thailand.
Malika is widely recognized as one of Thailand’s leading customs and international trade specialists. She has extensive experience advising clients across a wide range of industries, including automotive, electronics, medical devices, aviation, and manufacturing. Her areas of expertise include customs compliance, customs valuation, tariff classification, duty recovery, free trade agreements (FTAs), excise tax, BOI incentives, and Customs Free Zones.
She has assisted multinational companies with feasibility studies for investments and business establishment in Thailand and has provided strategic advice on BOI and excise tax incentives, Customs Free Zone applications, international trade matters, transfer pricing adjustments, and duty optimization strategies. She also works closely with the Thai Customs Department and other government authorities to address customs audits and compliance matters, helping clients mitigate risks and improve supply chain efficiency.
