Alvin is a Director in Deloitte Singapore’s Global Trade Advisory practice with over 20 years of experience across trade compliance, customs, supply chain, and logistics in the Asia-Pacific region.

He advises multinational corporations and high-growth businesses on customs and trade compliance, cross-border supply chain structuring, and regulatory risk management. Alvin works closely with senior stakeholders to design practical, scalable solutions that align regulatory requirements with commercial objectives and operational realities.

Alvin has led complex, multi-jurisdictional engagements across ASEAN and beyond, including the design and implementation of regional trade compliance frameworks, import and export regulatory assessments, and supply chain optimisation strategies. His experience also covers export controls, sanctions, and licensing requirements, as well as the structuring of bonded warehouse and Free Trade Zone (FTZ) models to support efficient cross-border operations.

He plays an active role in developing Deloitte’s trade operate and customs brokerage capabilities, helping clients move from advisory to execution with confidence. As a licensed Customs Permit Declarant in Singapore, Alvin brings hands-on operational insight into customs processes and TradeNet requirements, enabling solutions that are both compliant and implementable.
