As the global conversation around diversity, equity and inclusion continues to evolve, we remain steadfast in our commitment to cultivating a workplace where all our people feel valued, respected and empowered to succeed.

At Deloitte SEA, this means embedding inclusion as an integral part of our culture and business. We continue to integrate inclusive practices into our policies, processes and day-to-day behaviours to create an environment where our talent can reach their full potential. 

Over the past 12 months, we deepened this commitment through active participation in regional inclusion-focused initiatives. 

At the LeadWomen’s APAC DEI Summit, Southeast Asia Inclusion Leader Ang Weina moderated a multi-generational panel exploring the power of cross-generational collaboration in building inclusive workplaces, as well as practical strategies to enhance collaboration across age groups. 

Our SEA Inclusion Senior Manager, Siti Maheran, also spoke at the UN Women Seoul Dialogue and the UN Gender Action Lab launch, where she showcased Deloitte’s inclusion journey and our Asia Pacific (AP) Accessibility and Inclusion Plan, underscoring our commitment to measurable and inclusive progress. 

At Hitachi’s International Day of People with Disabilities, Deloitte leaders championed accessibility, neurodiversity and the importance of an inclusive workplace for all, sharing personal stories from colleagues with lived experiences. 

We also continued to empower women leaders through our long-running SheXO Program. The SheXO Young Leaders Challenge (YLC), conducted by Deloitte Singapore with United Women Singapore, invited female undergraduates to tackle real-world challenges. These range from tackling unconscious bias to building a supportive workplace. Winners received an internship, mentorship, a cash prize and access to professional networks – helping build a strong pipeline of future women leaders.

“Through the YLC, I gained insight into how the evolving workforce is being shaped by technology and how we, as students, can prepare to navigate future challenges effectively and confidently,” said Diem Quynh Do, SheXO YLC Challenge 2024 winner.

In FY25, we continued to advance a holistic approach to well-being and invest in initiatives that enabled our people to thrive. 

We also marked key moments such as International Women’s Day and Global Accessibility Awareness Day, reinforcing our commitment to an inclusive and supportive workplace. 

Another way we champion inclusion is through the Deloitte Asia Pacific Women in Technology (WiT) Awards, which recognise the contributions of women and their allies in the field of technology. In 2025, eight exceptional individuals and one outstanding team from Southeast Asia were recognised as regional WiT award winners for their excellence in technical expertise, innovation, artificial intelligence (AI), client service, purpose-driven impact and inclusive leadership. They now stand a chance to win in the overall Asia Pacific awards.

At Deloitte SEA, mentorship, networking and continuous learning are cornerstones of our talent experience. We want to empower every professional to grow and reach their full potential.

Over the past year, we have seen strong results from our investment in future-ready capabilities – particularly in Generative AI (Gen AI) and coaching-based development. By integrating AI into how we learn, collaborate and deliver work, we are equipping our people to succeed in a digital-first world while keeping Deloitte at the forefront of innovation.

To continue to drive Gen AI fluency across the region, we introduced three new initiatives:

• a quarterly SEA Learning newsletter, offering timely insights on Gen AI applications and trends
• Connective Classroom, a hands-on workshop series that focuses on real-world AI applications to build technical fluency and confidence
• Promptathon, Deloitte SEA’s first regional Gen AI hackathon, where teams pitch productivity-boosting use cases. This year’s winning team, OptiMind, created an AI tool that automates staff matching based on skills and engagement needs.

“Promptathon was an incredible opportunity to validate our ideas through rapid prototyping. Through collaboration and creative problem-solving, we developed an AI-powered tool we believe can help businesses hire smarter and boost productivity,” said Team OptiMind, our Promptathon winning team.

Our SEA Learning team also continued to champion the core Gen AI initiatives launched by our Global and Asia Pacific teams. These include a Gen AI curriculum available on Cura, Deloitte’s internal integrated learning platform. 

Tracking our professionals’ learning activity via our learning management system has shown a marked increase in Gen AI fluency over the year. Our people actively upskilled in areas such as prompt engineering and the use of ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. At the same time, many also participated in Gen AI–focused webinars and workshops.

Deloitte’s Amplify Programme is a new internship experience designed for final-year university students and recent graduates with up to three years of work experience. Launched in FY2025, Amplify’s initial intakes welcomed participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.  

More than just an internship, Amplify is a structured 12-week journey that blends technical training, soft skills development and hands-on client work. From day one, participants are immersed in projects that create real impact, with mentorship provided by industry leaders.

By opening doors for new entrants to the workforce, Deloitte Amplify helps individuals launch or transition into impactful careers in professional services. In doing so, the programme supports wider workforce development and strengthens the region’s talent pipeline.

Amplify is also about building community. Participants grow in a collaborative environment alongside peers and experienced professionals – developing the capabilities, confidence and network needed to thrive in a fast-evolving business landscape.
