Deloitte Case Competition 2024

The Olympic challenge

Do you have an interest in sports and wellness? Are you excited about the opportunity of impacting the Olympic movement in Sweden? Would you like to get involved in a case competition where the winning team get to go to the Olympic games in Paris 2024? Look no further!

The Deloitte Case Competition 2024 is closed for this year.

Background

The Swedish Olympic Committee’s (SOC) mission is that, through sustainable world-class Olympic sports, inspire and strengthen Sweden. To succeed in this, the organization is working hard to spread the Olympic message and to support and drive performance development towards medal capacity. Olympic athletes need improved and more tailored backing from the SOC's support programs, and the resources need to be doubled by 2028 to achieve the goals of the committee. SOC support programs are today 100% funded from commercial collaborations.

The SOC need to reach the whole of Sweden to have even more people dreaming of an Olympic gold, be inspired to an active lifestyle and practice values such as friendship, respect and the pursuit of excellence. To get there a larger and stronger commercial platform that attracts more sponsors is needed, a platform that is continuously adapted to the changing behavioral patterns of how the younger generation in particular accesses information and follows the Olympic Games.

The SOC has a clear ambition to boost its fan base, particularly among individuals under the age of 30. New strategies are needed to engage this demographic in Olympic sports and values, to ensure both a vibrant and diverse sports community, a healthy society and the long-term sustainability and success of the SOC's mission.
