Marek Skultety

As a Senior Manager in the Swedish Tax Technology team, Marek has focused on tax technology, transformation and AI during his 6-year tenure at Deloitte. Holding a Master of Law and a Master of Business, along with Python proficiency and a passion for technology, Marek has a passion for building robust tools to optimize and automate tax processes, visualizing them for deeper insights, and activating further value through exciting new technologies such as large language or diffusion models. Marek currently leads various Generative AI initiatives for the Tax Technology consulting group across the Swedish, Nordic, and NSE regions and advises clients on E-invoicing. Besides Generative AI, Marek has extensive experience with large-scale tax transformations in both SAP S/4 HANA and Oracle Fusion Cloud Tax. Before joining Deloitte, he worked in-house with AP, AR, Inventory/Logistics, and R2R/Closing ERP modules in MS Dynamics (Navision); managed compliance and tax filings in the EU and US; served as CFO, board member, and grant fund chairman in an international NGO; and handled claim recovery, litigation, execution, and insolvency processes at a law firm.
