About Sweden Technology Fast 50

Deloitte’s Sweden Technology Fast 50 is a ranking of the fastest-growing private and public technology companies in Sweden.

Technology Fast 50 was created as early as 1995 by Deloitte in San José, in the heart of Silicon Valley, California. Since then, the award has continued to spread and today serves as a prestigious recognition of the success of technology companies. In Europe, Asia, and Australia, Fast 50 rankings are carried out in more than 20 countries/regions. Larger countries such as the United States host several regional Fast 50 programs.

In Sweden, the ranking has been conducted since 2003. The list includes both public and private companies and covers all types of technology—from internet and data equipment to Life Sciences. The ranking is based on companies’ average revenue growth over a four-year period. We do not measure companies’ current financial position or profitability.

Sweden Technology Fast 50 is an initiative within Deloitte Private, which supports private companies of all sizes, including local entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, family businesses, large private companies, private equity firms including portfolio companies, as well as individuals. Our specialists within Deloitte Private understand the unique needs and challenges faced by private companies and can therefore offer tailored, end-to-end solutions.

Deloitte’s Sweden Technology Fast 50 ranking is based on the increase in net revenue over the past four years and includes both public and private companies operating in the technology sector. The ranking is based on a selection of technology-related SNI codes. The increase in net revenue is calculated according to available annual reports filed with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) as of July 31.

In addition to our own review of the Swedish market, we also accept directly nominated candidates.
