Nebojša Nikolić PhD, CFA, FRM
Director, Risk Advisory
Nebojša joined Deloitte in 2022 as a Director in Risk Advisory in Belgrade’s office. His career started in 2006 as Risk Management consultant. In parallel to consultancy, he developed his academic career as a teaching assistant at University of Belgrade (FON). His Banking career started in 2010 when he joined Banca Intesa’s Risk management department and afterwards UniCredit Bank Serbia where he acted as a Head of Credit risk modeling. From 2017 to 2022 he additional strengthen his risk management expertise by undertaking international banking career in Milan (Italy) in UniCredit Holding. During the years his professional expertise in finance and risk management has been confirmed with CFA and FRM certificates.
From the education perspective, after a bachelor’s degree in Information systems, he successfully completed MSc and PhD thesis in the area of quantitative finance and risk management at University of Belgrade (EKOF and FON faculties).
In parallel to his Risk management career, he is professional clarinet player. During bachelor studies, in parallel, he studied and finished classical music at Music academy in Belgrade.
He has never lost ground in the private life, so he is passionate about skiing, tennis and learning languages. He is fluent in Italian and English and speaks Hungarian and Russian as well.
