Maša Njegovan

Masa Njegovan is a sustainability expert with over a decade of global experience in leadership and advisory roles. She has a diverse background working with corporates, SMEs, startups, governments and international institutions in areas such as ESG, climate policy, renewable energy, decarbonisation and innovation. Her passion lies in harnessing the power of innovation to create a lasting impact on people and the planet.
Masa’s professional journey began as a consultant for tech startups in Singapore, Bangkok and Berlin, where she gained valuable insights into the worlds of emerging technologies. SONY later selected her as one of 16 young leaders for its Graduate Programme with placements in London and Brussels. Her sustainability career chapter started when she joined the solar energy company PROINSO as a key member of the global executive team. Upon her return to Belgrade, she co-founded Smart City Challenge Serbia aimed at addressing urban challenges through innovative technological solutions.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Masa served as Sustainability Director for Arcturus, a London-based climate data analytics startup, where she played a pivotal role in driving sustainability initiatives. She also worked as a consultant for Sustineri Partners, a boutique ESG consultancy. Additionally, Masa served as a Climate Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia.
Masa has a postgraduate degree in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge. She also earned a Master’s Degree in Innovation and Technology and Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Management from Bocconi University.
