Mirela is a Manager in the Tax Department of Deloitte Romania and is specialized in transfer pricing services, with strong expertise in the energy sector and the oil & gas industry—areas in which she has built most of her professional experience. She graduated from the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchanges within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and holds a master’s degree in Taxation.
She has coordinated numerous projects for multinational groups operating in Romania, contributing to the structuring and implementation of transfer pricing policies for companies involved in energy production, distribution, and supply, as well as for major players in the oil and natural gas sectors. The current context of accelerated transformations in Romania’s energy sector—its transition to renewable sources, the pressure of fiscal and European regulations—has made transfer pricing expertise essential for companies in this field. Thus, Mirela’s role is to support clients in navigating these changes and to develop and implement, together with them, transfer pricing policies tailored to the complex operational models specific to the energy industry, ensuring their compliance with the arm’s length principle.
Although she has also had the opportunity to work with major companies in the pharma sector and other industries, Mirela’s focus has always remained on the energy and oil & gas fields, where she has specialized and where she has been able to bring the most value through her integrated understanding of the sector, fiscal rules, and market dynamics.
