Mădălina is a Senior Consultant within the Indirect Tax Department of Deloitte Romania, specializing in environmental taxes and compliance advisory, as well as circular economy solutions. With approximately 8 years of experience in environmental consulting, she has developed expertise in areas such as extended producer responsibility (EPR) for packaging, electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators, waste management and reporting, compliance audits, and obtaining environmental permits and authorizations. She also coordinated a team of environmental specialists for 2 years, supporting the implementation of complex projects for companies across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, automotive, retail, FMCG, and construction. Mădălina also has experience in the development and implementation of digital solutions for the calculation and reporting of environmental obligations, contributing to the optimization of compliance processes and related costs. In addition, she has supported clients in identifying and implementing circular economy initiatives focused on improving resource efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing operational sustainability. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a Master’s degree in Integrated Environmental Assessment from the Faculty of Geography, University of Bucharest. She is also certified in waste management, environmental auditing, and ESG.
